Rejoice In Suffering

This starts out slow, but please stay with it. It’s beyond excellent!

The great key to living the Christian life lies in understanding God’s ways.

Affliction can cut a man’s meat, or it can cut a man’s throat.

It can build you, or it can break you.

“One of the chief instruments of our learning and our advancing in the Christian life is the pressure, the affliction, the tribulations that God in his sovereign
providence brings into our lives.”

The apostle Paul had very few problems before he became a Christian except these wretched Christians. But from the very day he bowed the knee to Jesus Christ Jesus brought problem after problem after problem to him because he was determined that this man would be a man of sterling character, glowing character for Jesus Christ.

“Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away;
and every branch that bears fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”

John 15:2
